With over 80 years combined Marine Electronic experience Marine Electronic Installations Ltd is based in Port Solent in Portsmouth, Hants, UK. We are a small, well established family run company trading since 1992 in the supply and installation of quality marine electronics.

The Founder of the Company - Jim Staig began his career in the Merchant Navy before working for Shipmate and then as a Marine Electronics Engineer, first employed and then as a sole trader before starting Marine Electronic Installations Ltd in Feb 1992. Andy joined not long after and several years later Stephanie in the office. The company now has another Engineer Tieran and we have additional help in the office. 

We are Authorised and certified dealers and service agents for Raymarine, Furuno, Garmin, Simrad, B&G, Lowrance, Icom, KVH, and many other brands and regularly undertake training with them to stay up to date.

We view every boat as special and treat them as if they were our own. We have recently carried out installation work on the historic 'Our Lizzie', one of the Dunkirk small craft that also regularly appeared in the TV series 'The Onedin Line'.
